This blog is in response to John Hawkins' column on liberals.

Hawkins – You’re not used to throwing down with a real opponent are you?  It’s obvious you’re trying to follow in “Colter’s” footsteps in the hopes of trying to obtain fame by spewing forth nothing but vacuous rhetoric and inflammatory accusations substantiated with absolutely no content whatsoever!

Being a neocon/republican/conservative is an opportunity to practice the age old art of “cognitive dissonance,” where you people invest so much faith in your beliefs that you distance yourself from reality and anything remotely resembling a fact.  You mindlessly blather on hoping to gather a following instead of actually saying something that carries any relevancy or content, much less holding water.

You guys are more of the same, “I got mine, sucks to be you.”

Conservatives tend to get in bed with any self serving interest group that happens to be connected to any pot of gold out there, regardless of any scandals that get in the way or laws that get broken.  It’s business as usual: eg. Republican Senator David Vitter, Louisiana, Republican Senator, Pete Domenici, Republican Senator Ted Stevens (Alaska) and Former House Speaker of Alaska, Pete Kott, Senator Ted Stevens's son, Republican Congressman John T. Doolittle, California, Republican Congressman Jerry Lewis, California, Republican Lobbyist Jack Abramoff, Republican, Congressman, Thomas DeLay TEXAS.  The list goes on and on and on.

You guys aren’t for the people!  You’re for yourselves.  You rant and scream “Small Government!  Small Government!” when in reality your ilk are the first in line to pump up government till it’s splitting at the seams all in order to push your own agenda, be it keeping gays from getting married, women controlling their own bodies, or pushing a war that’s sucking this country dry so it can funnel money into the pockets of Robber Barron elitist republican businessmen.  Your kind thinks that you can actually help the poor by paying them less!  Pathetic.  “You got yours, sucks to be anyone else!”  Right binky?

Greenspan, your own kind, said that the war is over oil but your ilk continue to push forward, business as usual, democracy for money baby!  Your ilk are at the very core of what’s sick in this country.  Your ilk have turned all the countries of the globe, that once loved and supported us around the time of … ohhh…. 9/12 2001, into despising us, referring to us as an empirical force with a Trojan Horse of democracy that we shove down the throats of every other country that has enough resources for us to plunder.  And if other countries aren’t supporting us, “coalition of the willing,” then they are traitorous and deserve punishment, eg. New Zealand.

God forbid if a moonbat liberal gets uppity.  You attempt to undermine the left one way or another, you pathetic slob, by saying, “oh, the liberals are all emotional, their not rational, blah blah lbah.”  Don’t make me laugh.  You guys just don’t like it when someone finally stands up to you and your fascist big brother practices.

You didn’t even cite any specific references.  Typical.  You guys are all hot air, no substance.  What is it that they say in Shrub’s state?  All hat, no cattle?  You say that you can’t debate issues with a liberal?  What idiocy.  The issues are never up for debate Johnny!  Why?  Aside from your opinions being set in stone, it’s because you guys don’t have the capacity to absorb any real facts and figures.  You cherry pick like a migrant worker doing over time!  There is no proper discourse between right and left because nobody can reason with you as you enlist in the party of cognitive dissonance.

Do you seriously think that anyone on the left will ever change your mind on anything?  Seriously!  No, of course not.  It’s the same with all of you.  Which just means that it’s a waste of time to attempt to reason with you.  Better to sit back and ridicule you and yours since that’s about as much as what we’ll get out of you.. other than another ill-conceived war.

Are you a vet Johnny Boy?  I am.  How many of you guys actually serve?  HA!  I made me laugh.  Your kind is nothing but a bunch of Chickenhawks, first in line to vote someone else to go to war and die.   And the darker the skin the better.  Your idea of supporting the troops is to keep them there! (.. ahem.. Vietnam).  Our version is to give them armor YESTERYEAR and send them home now!  That’s how we support our troops.  Keep them around for a real invasion or for a real war that just might actually do some good.  You guys twist reality to serve your own purpose just like you spin the issue about the troops.  We already know that whoever is first to get the “troops” on their side wins the popularity contest.  Cowards.  Again… did you serve Johnny?  $5 bucks says nope!

You blather on about liberals having confidence in the government! HA!  You me laugh again.  We despise the government and what your kind has done to it.  The government is supposed to serve the people, not the other way around.   It used to be the face of this country that other countries respected.

Now, the United States is a joke because of you and yours.
